Finding your leaks and working on them is one of the largest assets in becoming a better player that has helped to improve my own personal game.
I used to play 1 table at a time, without any software and just for fun, not caring about bankroll management and thought that I could play as a pro some day from that alone. On a scale of 10 I considered myself a 7-8 and felt I was far superior to anybody I sat down against in live ring games and tournaments.
PVT has shown me how wrong I was, I was actually a 3 out of 10.
I now watch videos weekly, use tracking programs, ICM programs, poker stove, try to work on my leaks as best I can with my limited putercore knowledge.
I follow proper super nitty bankroll management, read the forums a lot and am comfortably up to 6 tables at a time.
Before PVT I played maybe 300 games online in 3 years, since joining in January I have played just over 3500 games online and try to get in at least 100 games per week, along with training and finding and fixing my leaks.
I too work full time and take a few days off for personal entertainment outside of the "poker world" I think my chances of some day becoming a pro are way more realistic than they were prior to joining PVT and the kick ass training it provides.
Also learning from other venues doesn't hurt, training via pokerstrategy and reading poker magazines like Bluff also adds to how much I think and try to increase my level of play. Full Tilt Academy is another place I have recently started to explore. Of course reading more and different books on poker from many authors perspectives was all I used to have, I still do this as well.
Cheers!

13th Update
Well a bunch of the same old same old, playing out bonuses on Mansion and Full Tilt at the moment. Learning that variance is a fickle biatch, played won and lost, played some more, trained, played, trained, played, lost and won and lost some more.
Dealing with the death of my brother and back at work so poker is going slow only able to play in my spare time. A few more weeks left of soccer and baseball and then I will be able to play more during the week on my SnG game. Haven't played many multi-tables as of late and still seem to have a strong addiction to free rolls.
Almost totally quit smoking... NOT, I put off quitting for a few weeks until I can get a grip on life. I played a bunch of Sng's in the Full Tilt madness promotion and found one of the new sng pros from PokerVT at my table, abarone68, dang he is solid and I now I have soo much more to learn and will find that having many different instructors to be very helpful.
Also PokerDerk is starting a new Sng contest for the members and I look forward to playing in some of the games and taking my shot at making it into the top of the members.
Along with the weekly Bounty tournament I believe PokerVT to be a great asset to learning and training while working on my game.
Pokerstrategy.com has also been a great help with the many many videos available and the live coaching that goes on daily. I have also been playing around with some ICM trainer programs they have available to members and feel all of it will totally help to improve my game.

Hours spent training and improving my poker game: average of 1/day
Hours spent watching other players at my buy in levels: 1/day
Hours spent working on blog: 1 hour in the last 4 weeks
Hours spent playing: 2/day average, if you count the weekend all nighters'! :)
Days off: Wednesday and Thursday.
Still enjoying the junk food of take out and not cooking at home so much. Healing from my pulled leg muscles, as I seem to re-pull them every time I am running to first base or am chasing down fly balls. Looking forward to play offs and my mixed league team has a strong chance of winning it all. My all guy team, well that's another story.
Don't forget if you haven't checked it out to go to Poker strategy, the link is on the right of the blog. They have "free" training and videos, live coaching, programs, rake back, $5o free starting capital as well as many monthly promotions. All of which can only help you progress as a poker player and improve your game.
PokerVT is also a great place to check out as it is continually adding new pros with lots of different insight to playing and improving your game.
My old favorite coach has also started a new training site for free.
Cheers! See you at the tables and best of luck, just not against me!

Only 38 years old.
I was going to do an update today, but instead I am simply going to do a short blog saying how I am feeling and why.
I am confused, upset, sad, frustrated, disoriented, flustered, in shock, sick to my stomach, unfocused, spaced out and extremely sorry.
I got a phone call from my parents a few hours ago, at around 11:00pm... my older brother went to sleep last night, Friday August 7th, 2009, and did not wake up.
Jonathan,
I want you to know, wherever you are, that I love you and I miss you.
My kids are going to miss there Uncle Jon a lot and I my brother.
You were a wonderful person, a great older brother who taught me a lot about life during some difficult times. We had a lot of fun and memorable experiences that I will keep with me forever.
I would never have become the person I am today if not for having you to be there for me so many, many times.
I know you are in a special place and I will see you again someday.
Goodbye Jon, my brother my friend.
