Mostly serious playing..., for me, Still re reading Chapter 11 through 14 of "Fooled" and feel like I am back to my normal "cluster minded" self. I am over most issues of the past few weeks now and will simply move on.
A simple quote from the very end of the book for you all... "The only article Lady Fortuna has no control over is your behaviour. Good Luck." The quote was soooo good I put it in two straight updates.
I am still only posting totals and even though I won a few tournaments this past week, I am not highlighting which ones they were, I do have records at home and am happy to slowly build points on Mansion and try to earn the bonus. Keep in mind it is the only site I currently play on where I have never deposited any money, ever.
I am up to being able to play 6 tables at a time with comfort, though I find it most profitable to only play 4 and at times add a 5th, if it's a free roll. When I am doing better I will try the "free roll game" and try to get up to playing 7-8 tables at a time, but not as soon as I would have thought, which I am totally fine with.
I am still doing a lot of family time and have only been playing poker late at night when the kids have been tucked in and are happily sleeping. Baseball for me, soccer for the kids and the batting cage have taken up half of any spare time.
Cleaning out the fish tanks and lizard cages was also on the "to do" list for this week.
Videos for training and a lot of reading on Poker strategy, as I have moved up a level, have also taken a lot of my training time.
Movie night was great this week as I took my oldest son to see Terminator and all 3 boys to see Night at the Museum 2, which both happened to be way better than I expected. It's good to have low expectations as in turn it is difficult to be disappointed.
Getting upset about life's trivial issues was and is a long term battle but have found interesting ways to block out the "noise" and deal with what comes 1 thing at a time. For some reason I can always find something to get "worked up" about but need to step back and realize that which I have no control over and let things run there course.
Life is a wonderful journey and I am happy to simply play my part, which is to be the best me I can be... and feel I am doing a heck of a job at that.
I have learned to block chat while playing poker and block avatars on the poker rooms that have them, as well play the best game I can while I learn to become better.
Other kids at school have started being "mean" and making fun of my youngest who was born with Russell Silver Syndrome and hemi-hypoplasia which I didn't expect until at least grade 1. Wow Jr. Kidergarten can be tougher than I had imagined and I have set up a meeting to talk with his teacher to ensure all is done to avoid the kids in his class being cruel and teasing David Jr.

BB- Bubble Boy no money won. I consider bubble boy to be within 1 of the money in a SnG, within 10 of the money in a large MTT, or within 50 of the money in a MTT over 3000 and withing 300 of an MTT with over 13,000 entrants.

Hours spent training and improving my poker game: average of 2.5/day
Hours spent watching players at my buy-in levels: 0/day
Hours spent watching PokerVT pros in online play: 0/day
Hours spent working on blog: 25 min/day
Hours spent playing: 2.5/day
Day off: Monday and Tuesday. Not much of T.V watching Lost is over, sigh. Sarah Conner chronicles... I think it's over, will have to buy the DVD of anything the store sells!
My "self-healing break" continues and is ongoing. Quitting smoking isn't going to well, in fact I am almost stopped trying to quit for a few weeks and am preparing to mentally quit as that is needed before I actually try to quit physically.
My brain is still an over emotional over thinking creation, but I have learned to accept that I am not perfect and can forgive myself for past and present mistakes, I wrote this again for myself to remind me it is true, yet I need to remember it is true and not just type it in the blog.
Favorite movie watched this week "Terminator 4", I did watch like 4 rented movies and not much T.V., except for poker shows and whatever the wife is watching before she prepares for bed each night.
Need to watch all the new video content from PokerVT and catch up on the strategy available to my new level on Poker strategy for tournaments and SnG's.
Best of luck to all at the tables and I wish everyone and there families total success in all your endeavours.
Cheers and Shambone!
